| Wonderful wedding day hair – it’s all in the planning
When you’re planning your schedule remember to leave plenty of time for your hair. Make your first appointment at least six weeks before the big day. Bring all your hair accessories to the first appointment, have a detailed consultation and ensure you have a couple of trial styles so that the final result is exactly what you want.
Discuss and create a wedding day hair plan with your favourite stylist so that cut and colour appointments are all scheduled in. If you are including a wedding party in your schedule, make sure the bridesmaids and mums are all booked in too.
The week before the wedding, make time to have a deep conditioning in-salon treatment to ensure your hair is in optimum condition.
On the day make sure that you wear a front fastening top so you don’t run the risk of spoiling that fabulous final result!
What sort of style is popular for brides this year?
Trends do vary a lot but the choice should be based on a style that suits the individual bride. It’s important that the stylist takes into account the brides personality, her dress and the image that she wants to project on her wedding day – some brides want to go for the natural look whereas others want a more sophisticated style, it just depends on the bride and is it essential that all these different factors are taken into account by the stylist in order to find the right style.
